I shouldn't talk to her , but how to fight the temptation? |
Okay my ex and I became friends before dating, then were together for 3 months and I told her I loved her before and after the relationship. I still love her. But two months later, us talking, some flirtatious and intimate txts, and talking about hanging out I see it not being a good situation for myself. I'm trying to get on with my life without her and it's the hardest thing. I'm on day 2 of not talking to her by phone or txt and it's so tempting to just pick up the phone. She called the other night and I picked up right away. Anyone deal with this before, how did you handle it. I want to give it some time before we start being friends, basically when I don't carry this kind of love for her. listen dude i am going through the same thing, i was with this girl for a few months, she said lets be friends, i still cared about her tremendously, the Friend thing worked out for a while then she just started getting annoyed with me for no reason things she used to enjoy about me....well the was another dude in the picture. for you just stop talking completely for a few weeks, let things advance. if she calls don't answer maybe call her back in like 2 days, don't be eager to hang out either. and don't fight it. just go with the flow I know what you mean and its really really hard. When I done that I took there number out of my phone and just keep my phone on silent so I wouldnt know when they called and i would check it like every 30 min to an hour to see if my friends would call and the finally my bestfriend told me to just tell them I wasnt ready and I did and we havnt talked since but when I am ready I know we will talk again its just I need time getting over him. Tell her you're not ready yet. If you tell her what your intentions are, she hopefully won't make it any harder for you to carry out your intentions. why don't you call her up or tell her in person that you aren't ready for a relationship with her again, and you need some time. |
