How can i tell if a guy is into me but he cant tell me for some reason?

my manager where i work at is 26, he's leaving soon and he knows iam too, im 21 and we work at a restaraunt, i think he likes me but he cant mingle with his empolyees, he's called me "his fav. hostess"(i'm a host) , this guy that bugged me he told to settle down with me, he tends to be more harsh onme though, he demands more from me, he can be a jerk, but he tends to stare at me whe i look up, he looks away, and sometimes i look his way and he has a look on his face like he has been starin at me for a while...

i quit my job as a hostess and my mangaer wanted to do everything to keep me from doing it the day it happened, he told while we were in the office together, dont be a stranger with a look on his face like he was going to be miss me and wanted to see me, i cried becuase im going to miss it, but i couldnt handle anymore chaos,i thought i caused him a lot of headaches, but he said he said he undertsands how i am and hes not happy im leaving,

he used to manage another restaraunt and told me to apply there and he'llmake sure i get a job there..he grabbed me on my shoulder to tell me let me know he'll help me , through out the whole day i was kind of mean to him though..i was put under stress..

make a move, that's the best way to know if he's interested.

and if he backs out, ask him why; it could be because a) he's just not interested, b) there's a complicated reason like he has a girlfriend, he's not ready, etc.

Well, now that you have resigned there is no need for him to worry about being 'inappropriate' on the job. But, you could make this easier for him by coming by to see him 'socially'. If you did that a few times I bet you could figure out if there's more there.

Ok well it seems obvious to me that he likes you or atleast has something for you, but the question is do you like him back?
If so then go for it, if not then tell him you like him as a friend but not in 'that way'
