I have a half brother, father鈥檚 son, whom I despise with every fiber of my being. He is one year younger, a sophomore. My father plans on giving him all of his inheritance (if the old man even has any), but that鈥檚 not why I hate him. He trusts me and looks up to me as if I really am his older brother yet he鈥檚 oblivious that I really hate him. My father will surely kill me (or at least toss me out the house) if I ever did anything to his precious son (me and the old man don鈥檛 get along).
So my half brother has a crush on this cute sophomore girl who has a crush on me. Every now and then, she will follow me around, dress really nice to impress me, ask me questions like if I have a gf or if I ever kissed anyone. Now my half brother begged me to ask her out to the school dance for him. I told him to stay the hell away from me and not to talk to me if he knows what's good for him so he got really upset. I know he was going to tell my father so I decided to help him. He, was hiding behind a trash can waiting for me to ask her.
At the same time, my childhood friend, whom I got re-aqquanted with in high school after we haven鈥檛 seen each other again for 8 years, was about to ask me to the dance, but misinterpreted me talking to the sophomore girl as me asking the sophomore girl out. The sophomore girl also thought I was going to ask her out, but when I told her I was only asking if she wanted to go with the Halfling, she got upset and walked away. The other girl ran off after she thought I was asking another girl so I couldn鈥檛 explain to her. My half brother came out from watching me behind a trash can tried to punch me calling me a backstabbing SOB, so I moved away and let him trip on his shoe lace. That got him really upset, but I didn鈥檛 care anymore whether or not he told the old man.
Now this childhood friend of mine was still showing signs that she liked me as much as when we were little kids. She kept flirting with me, pestering me with provocative questions, and always trying to hold my hand when we walked together and once even tried to get me into the mood to kiss her. She does all this even though she already has a big buffed bf whom she鈥檚 been going out with for 8 months which is the problem because one, I became his enemy during middle school, and two, he鈥檚 twice my size and I don鈥檛 want to get killed. Ironic how the three of us end up in the same school and even more ironic is the cute sophomore girl my brother likes is actually his little sister.
So a few days later I found the girl, my childhood friend, and explained to her what happened the other day and explained to her that even though I still had feelings for her, she can鈥檛 continue to act the way she does around me. Then she throws herself on me and kissed me on the lips! I MEAN WTF??!!! She gave me my first kiss on the cheek when we鈥檙e little kids, but this is different!!!!! I鈥檓 speechless and couldn鈥檛 say a word. So she walked off and said 鈥淚 know what you mean鈥?鈥?
Well as for my sad excuse for a family, my father bitched me all night about my brother and kept cursing my mom so I went out for an all night walk. I went to a caf茅 and saw the girl鈥檚 bf and his sister, who took a quick glimpse at me and stared away in sadness and ordered a drink.
The next day I heard that the girl broke up with her bf and now he was after me. He told his sister to stay away from me and then went up to me and challenged me to a fight and threatened to beat the****out of my half brother as well if he ever got near his sister. I told him I couldn鈥檛 give a rat鈥檚 a** about the Halfling, but I didn鈥檛 want to get into unnecessary violence with a complete imbecile which was a bad move cuz that got him really mad. The Halfling heard about how the guy was keeping her sister from doing anything at all so he went to talk to the sophomore girl. Her brother got really upset and is hunting for my brother whenever they鈥檙e at school, but I couldn鈥檛 care less. More importantly, what should I do now about my fight with the brute? How do I apologize to the sophomore girl so that she would stop looking so goddamn depressed that it even makes me sad? And what should I do about my childhood friend? AWWWWWW DAMN IT!!!! THIS IS TOO MUCH TO HANDLE FOR HIGH SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Btw. Would this make a good romance novel or soap? this is so effing confusing, so i'm going to try to answer. hopefully i get everything right.
your feelings about your half-brother are a little hurtful, especially he seems to want to be friends with you. but some people just don't click, i understand. instead of hating him, you might want to try to just be whatever with him. you don't have to like him, but it would be healthier for you and your whole family if you just relaxed about hating him.
it was extremely immature for him to ask you to ask the girl out for him. i mean, come on. if a guy asked me out for his friend, i would never. that just shows me that he has no confidence, and i can't be with a guy who is too shy to even ask me out himself. tell your brother that even if he stutters all his words, most girls would be flattered that he's even interested.

the childhood friend seems a little crazy. i mean, either you're sending her the wrong signals or she's just crazy desperate. i'm sure she's had a crush on you for ten years now - it's up to you if you want to be with her. personally, i think you're falling for her trap. yeah, she's probably upset, but seeing you makes her more upset. she's doing nothing to hide it because she wants sympathy from you, because then you might want her. forget about her actions and only half forget the whole thing thats happened and ask yourself if you really want to be with her. if the answer is no, try to distance yourself from her ever so slightly. make sure she knows what your intentions are, even if you have to spell it out for her. just try not to be mean, girls are so damn emotional as it is.
and for the crazy ex-boyfriend.. like, what the hell. it's not your fault his ex-girlfriend doesnt want him. i guess you're the motivation for break-up, but iono. if you have to fight him, dont back down, but i dont think you need to be in that situation. you won't look like a punk for walking away, just as long as you dont start running and crying.
hope my advice helped! oh, one last thing. romance novels and soap operas are usually more mature than this. i'd say this would do well as a script for degrassi. i agree with first answer.
