Still talking to my ex girlfriend?

Okay so I'm trying to be friends with my ex girlfriend who i was friends with before we were together for three months. It's been two months and she helped me out the other day and I still have feelings for her, yet I can't tell her this now because I don't want to push her away(being too emotional).I think about telling her , today she called me and I don't think its a good idea at this point. I'm thinking about stepping back and creating some space between us without saying anything to her. Which sucks too , because I want to be around her and talk with her, I still care about her. Any1 ever deal with a situation like this, how did you handle it?

If u want to still be in ur exs' life, I'd keep it @ a friendship level if u don't want to scare her away. If u 2 r meant to be, she'll see the light & get back with u.

If u r 2 forceful, u could blow the chance of being in her life as a friend (4 now). I would rather be in her life as a friend than as an ex who she no longer wanted to be with.

you know what....sometime it's easier to fight for it then just creating space because then you end up losing them. Just personal experience. Because later they could end up dating someone else, and then you'll really just not want to see them for a long time.
