XBox 360 HDMI cable wont work on my TV, not showing picture!?

I have:
32" Hisense LCD Tv
Xbox 360 (with HDMI port at the back)
Microsoft xBox 360 HDMI AV Cable

I used to use the AV cables that came with my xbox360, (Blue, green, two reds and white) That worked ok but the picture wasnt what I wanted so I went out and got the HDMI cable.

I am pretty certain my TV can handle HDMI because it has 3 HDMI ports on the back and has 'HDMI' and '1080i/720p' written on it. But when I plug it all in I am getting no picture or sound. The TV recognizes that something has been plugged in but all I get is 'no signal' Ive tried many options including the following:

- Unplugging everything and starting fresh.
- Tried all 3 HDMI slots and every corresponding channel.
- Gone back into the settings and changed the display settings (using old plugs) then trying again.
- Called Microsoft support who could hardly help because they could barely speak English.
- Replaced the cord to make sure it was not faulty.

Hey guys I fixed the problem!

For anybody who's interested its a resolution issue related to the Hisense TV. When The xbox is turned on it automatically changes the resolution through the HDMI cable on its own. Do the following to fix the problem:

1. Ensure that the HDMI cable is connected to both TV and XBOX and the TV has
been turned on and set to the correct HDMI input.(no discs should be in the
unit).
2. Turn the XBOX on with the controller and wait for 30 seconds until the unit
has finished starting up do not press any buttons on the controller.
3. Using the left stick, move right 5 times.
4. Push A 3 times.
5. Move the left stick down 1 time.
6. Push A 1 time, picture should now appear, with the left stick choose YES then
choose YES again, there is a time limit of 10 seconds to confirm this last step.
If performed correctly your output setting should be set to 1080I. If no
picture appears some steps may not have been completed correctly 鈥?switch
the XBOX off and start again.

Possible solutions:

1. Change the input to the HDMI number you have it plugged into. There should be a input button on the remote or on the TV itself.
2. Make EXTRA sure you have the cables firmly attached on both sides
3. There might be a problem with the Xbox HDMI out. If you have access to another HDTV try it on that one and see if it works.
4. Mabe you have the Xbox set on a resolution output that the TV cant recognize 1080p possibly see if you can somehow check.

If you've replaced the cable, then it's got to be either the TV or the XBox itself. Got any friends who will allow you to try it on their TV or their XBox on your TV?
