Did I handle this situation appropriately???

Yesterday, I got my Visa bill. It had a balance of .98 cents because of some kind of BS about interest accruing on a cash advance from the month before, despite the fact I paid my Visa bill the minute I got it in the mail. I got SO upset because of all the wasted time I would be spending writing a check, putting a stamp on an envelope, going to the mail box etc. that I decided to give Visa a taste of their own medicine. I called their toll free number and spent the better part of three hours arguing and pleading with the poor customer service rep that I now feel satisfied that Visa spent more time on this scam than me. Was this the appropriate revenge?? Your thoughts??

I'm with David S but at the same time, customer service these days is a joke....it shouldn't have even happened and the customer service person should have just said okay, don't worry about it and that would have been that.

If you have the time to spend on that, that's your deal and as long as you got the outcome you went for, good for you.
