Met a woman, I really like her, how should I handle this, at a loss.? |
We met in a pub, she had a few drinks , but still quite sober, We chatted, hit it off very very well, aviation in common, she flattered me a great deal and I really opened up to her. Anyway I spent the night at her place, although we did not do it, we were very cosy and I did not want her to think I was intrerested in one thing, because I hoped to see her again. We talked on phone next day, few days later I took her flying and all seemed great and exciting. Then next day she calls and tells me that she is a mess with divorce a few months earlier and she does not want to hurt me and that she does not want to see me again. we have talked on the phone about once a week since then, she has a son who is ten and lives with father. Although it has been 2 weeks now. I have not called her and hope she will. I do not want to pressure her, or be a pest. I have been told she needs time and to be a friend, trouble is, when put in the friend club, thats all she will see you as, and date others. I think staying connected with her through friendship is a good idea, because then you will be available when she is ready to move on. She obviously liked you, so i don't think I would worry about her dating others while you are just in the friend club. She already knows you would like to have more. |
