I need help with my resume!!!?

I am an executive assistant t Florida International University, and i work with mainly high level executives that are our board memebers and we call them and cater to them and the whole shabang,, we mingle and we take alot of pride in out job. now i am trying to make my resume for a scholarship and i cant find out how to do it. I dont know what to do to make it work or how to word that i do clerical duties, handle 300 board members mainly Chief Officers and Presidents and Vice presidents of companys. We have events for them, netwroking socials and board meetings all which i attend and coordinate, how do i write this in a short professional way?

i wuld say find a website for the format of a resume, it sounds pretty impressive to me!

First, please proof your resume better than you did this message. You lost me early with the errors. One error on a resume can sink your chances.

Second, use the resources at your fingertips. Do an Internet search for resume and you will find a good deal of help. Also, go to the career center on campus. They have so many answers. Believe me you are not the first to need this type of assistance.

You may want to go to the career center at your university. At least at my alma mater, they had people who'd sit down with you and work to tailor your resume, proof it for you, etc...

First of all, you have some great information to put into a resume AND a cover letter... You may want to include a cover letter if you want to include more detail, because as you know, resumes are supposed to be short and sweet.

My suggestion is to use action verbs in each statement. For example, Scheduled... organized... contributed... coordinated. (You could say "coordinated networking socials and board meetings for executives") Here are some other resume tips:

1. Quantify your statements... Make sure to include that you organized events for 300 board members. Also try to include how many events you actually helped coordinate

2. Check your spelling!

3. Don't use "I" in your statements. They should always begin with Action verbs.

4. Mention 3 or 4 specific elements of the job you are most proud of.
