I know the priest is stealing money from our church. What do I do?

Just as the question says - I handle the collection plate, and I work very closely with the man conducting the sermon of the day. When I asked him about it, he said "it's because they don't pay me enough," and I understand why he's taking it, but still - it doesn't seem right. My parents even put money into the collection plate, but I don't think they would listen to this man if they knew he was stealing from them. I don't want to damage his reputation though because he says it is sinful to defame a priest and even worse to call him a liar and be wrong. (and this guy is HUGE, he's very important--he goes on TV, and a LOT of people know him). I just don't feel right about it, though. It doesn't seem like something Christ would do. Anybody else ever experienced something like this?

You know, the priest is not Holy as you believe and think. He is also human like you and bound to commit error, mistake or sin and bound to tell lies and to be sinner. You are wrong to say that he is Holy. He can also lie.

God is Holy and can not lie. Remember it.

The sin of the priest is not your sin. Avoid tht kind of priest and never think of him tht he is a bove the law of God and man. No one is above the law.

Talk to the deacons/elders and get it stoppped!

A hypocritical clergyman with an attitude of entitlement -- I'd act surprised, but who would believe me?

Alert his boss, and they can decide whether to investigate the matter further or press charges...
