A sad downward spiral of a young life?

i'm 16.. freshman drop-out .. supposed to be a junior. i refuse to go back to school because i know i will just fail again after already trying to repeat 9th grade last year. i don't think i can handle being a 17 year old freshman anyway. [if i went back this sept.] i'm also socially awkward. i've tried alternative high school.. backed out of that.. tried home schooling .. backed out of that as well. i don't know what my problem is. i just fail at everything i do.. i have no self discpline. i will set a goal and be hyped up about it at the time and then i just lose interest somewhere along the line. i have not one friend and i sit in my house all day feeling sorry for myself, and regretting all of the decisions i've made over the last few years. i just have no clue where my life is going. i've applied for a job at so many places but they don't call back probably because they see my education record.. any suggestions on how to improve my life? is there any boot camps that will help?

A guy I knew joined the army and it turned his life around. Contact them- they might have pograms for younger people or know of programs.

Otherwise, you're obviously not academically inclined- fair enough! So what are you good at and what do you enjoy? And don't say 'nothing' because there will be something- if you can't think of it try and find it!

I'm the sort of person who only really has self discipline when it comes to things enjoy- I studied in a creative field and worked like a maniac whereas I know if I'd picked something else I probably would have failed miserably.

I very much doubt you're a stupid person- you will find something that you want to do! You're only 16, you don't need to know where you're life is going just yet- you just need to get out there and find things that you enjoy. Go skiiing! You might enjoy it so much you decide to become an instructor!

As for a job- join a placement agency and don't be picky.

calm down, take one subject at a time, when you apply for a job look and present your self to be enthusastic, my education record is crap and im struglign to find work because of it so im looking to redo my education and you can to, i fail at a lot of things but im determined to 'make it' so i think if you really want it go for it,
