I feel very down, my bf still gets visits from his ex?

I already told him that I dont like it, she is married now and has a child with her hubby but still regularly calls him and drops by at his place... is this normal?

I told him that it hurts me but he doesnt do anything about it... how can I handle this?

they lived together for 8 years and that was 10 years ago..

It sounds to me like he isn't the one initiating the contact with his ex, but she is the one doing the phoning and calling round?
Maybe he doesn't know how to tell her to stop without causing upset? He must be telling you about the visits so it seems he doesn't think he has anything to hide either. I think you need to find out why she keeps visiting, is she still holding a flame for him or are they just still on friendly terms with common interests?ie did they buy a property together and it's now going through the process of being sold or have they been friends since childhood and don't want to lose that friendship?
I think you should have another chat with him and find out why he hasn't done anything about it, explain to him why it upsets you so much and that it could be the end of your relationship if he isn't willing to take your feelings into considerations. Ask him out right why he won't break off contact with his ex, men don't take hints and perhaps you were too subtle last time.

sweetie they are having an affair right in your face. sweetie leave that man alone and let him have her. they are made for each other. the fact that he has not taken you feelings about this matter seriously or even thought enough to attempt to leave the ex alone shows that he is more in love with her than you.
