GIRLS!How do YOU handle being called a slut? |
it hurts us girls to be called a slut more then a guy thinks it does. thats a word Well when I was a teen and someone called me a slut, I didnt take it to heart because the person did not know me. In no way shape or form was I ever a slut, they just wanted to hurt me. Needless to say they didnt suceed. As long as you know who and what you are thats all that matters!! From grade school through middle school, I only had a couple friends, no one very close. I was picked on by most. Even in high school, there were a large number of people who didn't like me. If I happened to like a guy or get close to a guy, I'd be called a slut. Yes it hurt, at first. Then one day it occurred to me that none of those people who said hurtful things were friends of mine. Why should I care what they say? If I'm true to myself, those people don't matter to me. In fact, the people who usually put down others only do so because they're not happy with themselves though they'd never admit it. |
