Jehovah's Witnesses- Will we be married in the new system? |
Please only baptised Jehovah's Witnesses...please! I basically want to know what the bible says about this if it says anything. My mother in law keeps saying that the bible says that "we will be like angels" so I think she's talking about the sexual/physical sense...I'm not worried about not having relations with my husband! Because my logic tells me that even when we get older in this system that's not very important anymore but we still love each other as a couple...so basically what i'm saying is....what's that point other than to multiply and be fruitfull is there in getting married just so we can be as if we were never married in the new system? This really makes me sad to think that I won't be able to call my husband "my husband" anymore and that we will only be like any other brother and sister. I hope someone can maybe make me feel better about this b/c i love Jehovah and I always look forward to how life will be in the new system. Thank you to all in advance! : ) you wont be an angel in paradise. only the 144,000 will and those are already chosen. of course you will be married to the same person you are already with. to have sex with your husband is a good thing, and it NOT BAD AT ALL! there is no rule against having sex with your spouse, having kids, or even using birth control (like catholics). dont be worried, your husband is your husband regardless and will be, until death do you part. and if he passes, you WILL be able to marry again. trust me. Forget reserving this question for only baptized Witnesses. You will always get responses from people who are not. I am not a Jehovah's Witness, so please pardon my intrusion. But I will be checking back here to see if you get any answers. I tried hard but I don't understand your question - I suppose I can't. I have a cool brother in law who is a JW married to my sister in Houston. I am not too familiar with JW, but he is. |
