Chapter2: Stabbed
鈥淗ey A-loser. What do you think you鈥檙e doing around here all by yourself?鈥?
Judging by the dimming light of the autumn sky, Allyrah assumed that much time had passed by since she left her stepmother鈥檚 appartment when she found herself walking up a narrow sidewalk next to a freeway. Her longing stare into the forest in the far distance, was interrupted by the voices of Mitch, her own personal antagonizer, and the two very muscular boys that always seemed to hang around him. Not wanting to embark on any verbal or physical conflict, she continued in the direction she was going in before they appeared. But she was living 鈥淎llyrah鈥檚 life鈥?and in 鈥淎llyrah鈥檚 life鈥?even if one tries to avoid a problem with the best of their abilities, it eventually would just come back rather sooner than later.
鈥淗ey, I鈥檓 talkin鈥?to you! Don鈥檛 walk away from me when I鈥檓 talkin鈥?A-loser!
Hey come back here!鈥?Mitch yelled jogging and growing aggravated remembering that of all the girls that usually drooled over him, Allyrah was always the one who frequently avoided him.
But as Mitch quickened his pace, as did Allyrah and within a few short minutes
the three were chasing her.
鈥淕otcha!鈥?one of Mitch鈥檚 henchmen grabbed Allyrah鈥檚 arm restricting any
movement she made attempting to escape.
His grip on her arm seemed to get tighter and tighter as Mitch and the other
one of his followers caught up to them.
鈥淥kay Allyah. All I wanted was for us to be together and I even gave you millions of chances to make your move but now you are just making me angry. It鈥檚 time to learn your lesson. No girl walks away from Mitchell P. Jackson while he鈥檚 talking to her,鈥?he hissed rolling up the sleeves of his unzipped black hoodie and balling his fists as Allyrah looked at the boys giggling behind him more about Mitch鈥檚 name rather than Allyrah about to get hurt.
鈥淵ou can鈥檛 do this Mitch, someone will see you and call the police,鈥?Allyrah
struggled to break free.
鈥淲hy don鈥檛 you look around babe? There鈥檚 a forest behind us and a one-way
dirt road over there,鈥?he smiled putting a hand under her chin then gestured to a small curved dusty path behind her.
By that time, the sun had almost completely set and the faded full moon began to become more and more visible by the minute. They had dragged Allyrah away from the free-way until the four of them were all standing right in front of where the narrow road started and led all the way to the free-way. Mitch and his friends continued to hold Allyrah and torment her about her money, social status and worst all, her deceased biological mother.
鈥淚 told you over and over again that you could have had your chance with me but you just kept blowin鈥?me off,鈥?he paced back and forth a short distance in font of her playing with her long dirt blonde hair and brushing his hands against her face. 鈥淥h, wait a minute. What鈥檚 this? A silver necklace? Let me guess鈥er鈥檚?鈥?
Mitch made a kissing face to Allyah as he snatched the heirloom and smiled revealing his yellow tainted, crooked teeth.
Suddenly with a burst of confidence, Allyrah raised her heel and pushed it down
on Mitch鈥檚 big toe.
鈥淥wwwwwweeeeee!鈥?he screamed dropping as his friends rushed to comfort her.
鈥淛ust get her you idiots!鈥?he pointed to Allyrah who had the necklace in her hand and had slowly begun to back away, amazed at what she had just done.
鈥淣ow you鈥檙e really going to get it you little *****!鈥?Mitch yelled rising from where he was sitting and sobbing on the ground and then walked towards his friends who had once again grabbed Allyrah鈥檚 wrists.
With his fists curled up tighter than tug-of-war knots Mitch marched forward
toward Allyrah ready to kill her. When he was about a foot before her, he straightened the wrinkles in his perfectly white t-shirt under his hoodie and then reached into the leg pocket of his baggy khaki cargo pants and slowly pulled out a six inch silver blade and smiled. Pulling his arm back to strike, Mitch, blinded by her desire to injure or end Allyrah, did not notice her feet kicking when struck, and stabbed Allyrah鈥檚 left thigh.
鈥淲ow Mitch, I think you really got her,鈥?the taller of the goons gasped as the three of them stared at the deep gash in her leg and then at Allyrah in critical pain, hollering, crying, and covered inblood.
鈥淵eah you鈥檙e right. We better get out of here, let鈥檚 go guys!鈥?Allyrah couldn鈥檛 see
them but judging by the sound of the rustling and crumbling of leaves fading off into the distance, it had indicated to her that they were gone. It's seems to me that you have produced yet another cliched piece of writing in which a male bully abuses a young woman. Why?
What's with a name like Allyrah?
By the way, what makes you think grammar and spelling don't have anything to do with quality? Its pretty good. I want to know what happens next. That was really good...I totally forgot I was on Yahoo Answers, it felt like a book I would get from the library. I want to read more!! Pretty good, i think you could go farther though. i loved the plot! Ow and you better put me on best answer couse it took me like forever to read it all!!!!!!!!! jk, lol |
