Long distance relationship problem?

I met this guy through family as a marriage prospect like a year back. he lives in a different country. we spent some time together and liked each other so we agreed on taking this relationship forward. then suddenly his mom's calls and calls it off as our stars didn't match. the problem was that his mom and my mom didn't gel and she scared of losing his son. there was a big argument between the families. so we (me and my guy) called it off. but we kept in touch. after couple of months he and i met in his country as i was there was for work and spent 3 months together and he said he will explain it to his family. but last week he calls and tells me that his parents will never approve and can't do this as he can't upset them althou he is crazy and still wants me to bits.now we talk but less and are officially broken up. i don't doubt what he is tellin me as even thou we are far apart we talk every hr and i know he loves me like mad. i just don't know how to make him strong about us?

Long distance relationships sometime work , but most of the time they don't . You can build intimacy only when you stay next to your boy , all that you can do is . convince his parents again or ask him to take a brave decission . You should not spoil your life just because of silly reasons .. All the best

well, u can't make someone strong. he has 2 b himself strong. if he truly luvz u so much dan why he iz so scared 4m his parentz? even if u'll get married ur relationship would last shortly. if he truly luved u he wouldn't have cared abt his parentz & inspite of their objection he would have married u. it'z better u try 2 forget him & move ahead & start a new life & also make him realise his fault. may b dat only de way 2 make him strong.

Long distance relationships sometimes work but then again they don't I say give it a try. Try to do more ting together that will strengthen your relationship.

Well in a relation no body tells u to make the decisions. Your guy chose to be a mouse and not stand up for your relationship and don't think ever will. There is nothing you can do about it. Even if you two end up getting married against his family's will. It will be heartbreaking for him and his family will make him leave you. I would say break this gutless relationship. You deserve something good.

I am in a long distance relationship. I met my bf over net. I live in canada and he lives in india. I went to meet him backhome and things went good. We agreed on supporting our relationship no matter what. Everyone deserves to live happy and our family should understand that or u make them understand. Good luck.

Sweetheart, I have been in a long distance relationship for 9 months now. I'm in Canada and she's in India. And yes there were some concerns in both our parents minds when we decided to take the relationship forward but it really didn't matter. She's an adult and I'm an adult and there is nothing that can stop us. If our parents are too naive to understand then hell with them.

You can not force your partner to be strong in a relationship. It comes from within. If he loves you, his parent's or anyone's saying anything wouldn't get in the way of you two being together.
