Do you like a challenge .... here is one for you then!?

You have heard of pay it forward. I do something like that but a little different. I call it "Random Acts of Kindness". In today's world gas prices are insane, people are loosing there houses and more and more job are being outsourced. You can blame these things on anything and there is not much we can do about it. So lets switch our focus and try to focus on this. The next time you are in the store help an older person with something on the top shelf. Return someones cart for them. Buy the person behind you in the drive thru their lunch or coffee. Give the homeless person a sandwich. Say a kind word to someone You will feel better about life and they will too. Look for nothing in return and ask for them to do nothing. They don't have to pay it forward they just have to enjoy your random act of kindness. ..I have found that doing this at times when i am down makes me feel 100% better. I don't have much but I feel good. If you have done this let me know.. If not tell me what you think

I have been doing this for so long it has no real effect anymore but it is still addictive

I have done this, at times I should do these acts more, it is a shame that there are so many out there that commit opposite acts, by trying to steal, hurt, or degrade others, it is hard to stay focused sometimes on what matters (being a decent human) but nevertheless, there is always hope.

I do it all the time, i believe its what being a good person is, no title or label, its simply what we are supposed to do.

Acts of kindness are rare and usually go unnoticed. When they do occur, the receivers often second guess the givers motive or assumes there is a pay back involved. When the kindness is realized as a gift, both parties experience a heart felt warmth and realize that there are still some good people on this earth. My hat's off to you. But I don't agree with you outlook on our economic conditions and feel that, in fact, there is some thing, we as a people, can do. We seem to have forgotten some where a long the line that this Gov. is for the people by the people. It's time we started exercising this people power.
