Why would the man I鈥檓 interested in make a date with me before he鈥檚 deployed for 10 days BUT not call or even |
text me while he鈥檚 away? Why is expecting a man to call considered "cling?" Sheesh... its hard mentally on a man or woman before they leave... my husband left 5 month ago for iraq and we didn't talk for a week before he left. Its har they don't want to think aou twhat they are leaving behind. But if he's only goingto be gone for 10 days wait it out. Ask him when he gets home. But don't take it personally, there are just alot of things on their mind and alot of things to get done Since you said he's only a man that you're "interested in," not married to & not a boyfriend he doesn't HAVE to call you. He was deployed, the focus for those 10 days was not on his personal life. Be happy that he's home safe & said that he was looking forward to your date. Ok..take out the whole military thing..that has no bearing on why he would or wouldn't do anything beyond the fact that he may have simply been far too busy (like any person would be on a business trip). Go out and see how it goes BUT if you are going to get this worked up over someone who has a job that may leave him unable to communicate as often or as easily as you would like, than dating amilitary man is not for you. He may have been busy and tired. Not sure what he was doing or where he was those ten days, but I have had ten day TDYs where we worked 12-14hour shifts the whole time. And maybe he was somewhere without service or wasn't allowed to take his phone. Scenarios I've experienced. The great thing about phones is, now they work both ways. Why did you wait so long to contact him. Should he be worried about you fibbing? There alot of things that need to be done before a deployment. Shot records, C bags, A bags, Chem gear. All kinds of stuff needs to be done. He may be busy getting his stuff together. I am not an expert in this but someone in another category might be able to help you. b/c hes busy in training Maybe he thought it would bother you if he appeared to be too pushy. who would take their cell phone to the field? he was railing other girls Wrong Section Sweet Hart. Girl talk is down the hall. |
