Does my boyfriend really love me? |
I have been serious w/ a man 20 yrs older than me for several mths and I told him that I loved him and he has not told me back yet. He is always very affectionate, stays over a lot, even w/o sex, always talking about snuggling w/ me and saying he sleeps better when snuggled w/ me and things like I can see a future together. When he does come over he always hugs n kisses me saying I have looked forward to this all day and when he doesn't come over he will call me 2-3 times a day just to say hi. He is always offering to do things with my kids, like swimming, boating, etc. He says he is not going anywhere. Does is sound like he does love me but just cannot say it yet? Yes, that is exactly what it sounds like. He has all the signs that he does love you, but some men are totally afraid of using the word. He may also have reservations about the age difference. Several months may not be long enough for him to be convinced. Enjoy the attention and affection, and don't stress too much about the three little words. When he does say them, they will mean that much more to you. And don't say it to him all the time because then they will lose their value. |
