I think my water may be leaking!?!?!?!??!?!?!??!? |
omg ok yes your water is breaking, lol, go to the hospital and have that baby!!!hahaha well som times it doesn't come out in sa gush. you may have it come out sporatically over the next couple of hours or it could start to come out in a trikle or you may have a gush of water soon. did you doctor advise you to go to the hospital? if not start walking around even if it is just at your house. maybe go for a walk down your street. since it is dark out no one will notice (if it is dark out there) if you do have a gush of fluid. and you will be able to go home and change and go to the hospital. just keep moving r get the hospital. if you try walking, I would say walk for about an hour if you can and then go to the hospita. they have 24 hours to get the baby out after your water breaks so you do have time if the baby will allow for it. good luck and congratulations. oh and sorry but yucky your husband smelled your pad??? at least you had a second opinion there my husband won't touch a non used pad. when my waters were leaking it would happen all the time, I would cough and it a little would come out, I would even be sitting and it would come out, I would stand and same thing, I would move the wrong way and it would come out and this would happen like every 20 Min's so I would go to the hospital if I was you... Here's how to tell if your water broke (this is what I did). Lay down on your back, on a couch or on the bed, for about 10 to 15 minutes. Don't get up and lay pretty still. Then get up and see how much fluid comes out. If you have more fluid come out (whether it is a lot or just a small amount) it is likely your water is breaking slowly. Do this test and then if you find more fluid it is time to go to the hospital. Good luck!!!!! Congratulations on the baby and I wish you a healthy and speedy delivery. I thought my water broke once a few weeks ago and went to the hospital and they told me usually even if your water broke and is just like trickling not so much a big gush it should be enough to soak a pad within minutes. So if that's happened it's most likely your water broken. You should lie down for a few minutes and see if anymore leaks because amniotic fluid usually leaks more when your lying down. Also, does it smell like bleachy kind of? Usually that's what amniotic fluid smells like. Good Luck! Honey go to the hospital, once you are 4 cm they have to keep you and if you arent in labor they will have to induce you as if it UNSAFE for the baby if your water has broke and you dont deliver within 24 hours. So if you think you are leaking you need to go now. Once it has a leak you have 24 hours to get the baby out before an infection can start and you could hurt the baby. Congratz Most of the time it's not a gush and MOST of the time the fluid leaks more heavily when your lying down vs. standing up. It sounds odd, but I read it was because when standing up the child's head often blocks the fluid from releasing. You should go to the hospital and get checked. If you are leaking amniotic fluid you need to deliver quickly because of risk of infection. Good luck and Congrats! Sounds like it is, often when sitting, sometimes the head blocks the cervical opening stopping fluid coming out. It smells like semen, gross i know, but it does, looks like water. Maybe time to get ready for the hospital, good luck!!! If your leaking fluid your doc should have advised you to go the ER to get checked... I hate doctors sometimes, they just don't pay attention. Go to the hospital. If it doesn't smell like pee and you had your membranes stripped then the most obvious answer is your water breaking/leaking. oh i bet u anything ur water just broke! is it warm? i hear its real warm, has n no smell to it. so then i bet it is leaking. u bette get to ur doctors sweetie and good luck! could very well be.
