Why isn't help being sent to soldiers in Afghanistan?

i know soldiers are lost in iraq as well, but it seems that the so called war in iraq is not needed, the real battle is in afganistan, iraq seems to be a political agenda and many british and US soldiers are sent there instead of afganistan. soldiers are struggling in the helmand province and when they make an advance, it seems like there isnt enough resources for them to push forward or to maintain a position. so whats the point in going back and forth everytime.

why isnt the governments sending the resources from iraq to afganistan and this includes the soldiers, which many have been at the base for months, not being used. why are weapons stored in warehouses for years and not shipped out. why are helicopters stuck in warehouses when they are desperately needed to help the soldiers?

we are short on men power.

I think to suggest shipping Battalions between these two countries is preposterous. They are HUMAN BEINGS not machines.

As to why weapons and aircraft sit idol. There is not the man power to utilise them

My advice. Join HM Forces. Find out what its like to be working your nuts off for months on end in a complete and utter sh*t house, full of sand, and were suddenly told, today Basrah, tomorrow Helmund! Get out of it, You're off the wall.
