Should I still tell him?

I'm 17 and I like this guy.
The thing is he lives three hours away.
I was making plans to go down to where he lives...he doesn't really know that though.

I knew he liked a girl because about 4 months ago he asked me for help with her..but I didn't give it to him because she seemed like a screw up (doing the wrong things....)

Since then I felt like he led me on a little bit...saying things to make me feel better...calling me "sexy"...when i was coming down to see him at school (boarding school) he said he was looking forward to it. after we saw each other he said it was nice to see me.

I was going to tell him I liked him.
The thing is he is back at home now and still likes this girl.
Would it be bad for me to tell him I like him?
I don't mind telling him I'm just not sure it will be a good idea.
And I'm not too sure this girl likes him like he wants her to.

I wouldn't. He has made it crystal clear he wants to be with this other girl right now. Just move on to someone else that will be interested in YOU. As far as him calling you sexy...it was probably just innocent flirting because if he felt comfortable enough to call you sexy, I think he would have felt comfortable enough to ask you out.
