I have been talking to this guy for about 5 months now. We aren't official yet, we just want to take things slow and not rush anything. Well anyways, yesterday he calls me and gets sentimental with me. He tells me that I am very special to him, that he cares about me so much, and that I am the best thing that has come into his life. Then he told me that he feels like he needs to talk to me more about "us"... but he wants to do it face to face. Part of me is freaking, because I am assuming the worst. I really like this guy. I asked him today what exactly he wants to talk about face to face and all he will tell me is, we should talk about us moving forward. I wont see him for another week, so I'm going crazy here... what do you think this means, and what do you think he will say? No need to "go crazy." My guess is that he wants to become official. As a guy, I know that if I were at this stage with a girl and I told her I wanted to talk more about "us".....face to face...it would be to establish something official. NO you will get proposed to! Dont even think like that!! Be prepared though if he asks.....the two of you to move-in together. I dont think that is out of the realm of possibilites. You will be fine. No need to ring shop yet! He likes you............ a lot! Don't be afraid about what he will say, it seems he really has strong feelings for you and wants to take your relationship further. Just wait until next week (or whenever you see him again). I think what he said is very nice, and sincere. Doesn't sound like he wants to break up or anything. Good luck! He's either a loser and wants to see other women (it'll be great that you lost him early on) or he wants to get married, or he wants to live closer. Either way it will be good for you in the long run! It's not about what he thinks you are, it's what you think about him. He wants to move "forward", not backward. Stop sweating it. He sounds like he really cares for you. Trust your gut and if it tells you to trust him, trust him. Sounds like good things are coming for you. Get excited! Not nervous! it's good to anaylize things, but you wrote that he said "we should talk about us moving forward" that should tell you something...sounds like he wants to make it official.. don't stress for the week you can practice with me Sounds like the guy want to make it an exclusive relationship since you are not official. typically the guy just wants something from you. but in your case i think he really does like you and mayb wants to make it official!!! good luck!!! |
