WASHINGTON - In a shocking turnabout, the press secretary most known for defending President Bush on Iraq, Katrina and a host of other controversial issues produced a memoir damning of his old boss on nearly every level 鈥?from too much secrecy to a less-than-honest selling of the war to a lack of personal candor and an unwillingness to admit mistakes.

In the first major insider account of the Bush White House, one-time spokesman Scott McClellan calls the operation "insular, secretive and combative" and says it veered irretrievably off course as a result.

Nothing New... some of us have been saying this for 8 (eight) Years.

I'm looking forward to the end of one of the most corrupt, idiotic, secretive Presidencies ever. I think he should be charged as a war criminal for getting our men and women killed on the basis of a lie. :)

Bush is bad, evil, raising gas prices, ruining social security, causing poor education in our kids, killing innocent people in Iraq, raising the defecit, etc, etc, etc. HOW is BUSH by himself doing all these? And WHAT are Clinton or Obama gonna do to solve these.

I never hear any1 say HOW bush is messing up. All they say is that he is or did mess up,,,,but not HOW? All clinton and obama do is talk about how we need change and all that crap....but dont say HOW they are gonna lower gas, HOW they are gonna fix social security, etc, etc.

Enough with the baseless accusations....start saying HOW and WHY!

I can't wait for this administration to leave. They are killing America. The local networks funnel us into believing that we must vote for one of the three that are left. America we have the write-in vote. Learn to use it and do it. We are not voting for homecoming king and queen. THINK! We need leaders who care about our people and our country.

Great points about sometime we get a a different realistic truthful statement here. You can be a liberal and be patriotic.. Why do conservatives think they have a monopoly on patriotism.
