Virtual number for call forwarding?

Hi, I'm a Canadian student studying in the US. I'm looking for a simple forwarding service which will let me have a (416 - Toronto) number ring to my american cell phone. So far everything I've found involves me subscribing to a VoIP and setting it up to forward numbers. It would also be a big plus to have it forward SMS/text. thanks.

No such thing as free call forwarding especially with a Canadian phone number. You will have to subscribe to a service.
