Can I adjust the microphone volume on myMotorola H700 Bluetooth?

I have it on my ear correctly with the microphone boom, such as it is, away from my cheek and pointing forward, and, am practiallly yelling into the set just to get the persons on my call to hear me...

The volume would be on your handset. It sounds like a headset problem. I would recommend trying it on a different phone to rule it out.
