How can I love myself?


I wake up each morning with nothing to look forward to. I just go through the motions. I drive thirty minutes to school where I go to class and do work and leave. I go back home to parents who don't even know me and a brother who I don't even speak to. There I sit in my room and watch as life leaves me behind. The best part of my day is when I'm peacefully asleep. I don't feel sad, not happy either, just empty and numb inside. Nothing drives me anymore. I have noone I can call my bestfriend anymore as we have gone seperate ways and grown apart after highschool. No one I can really connect to on a deeper level. And I have wasted so much time on this girl but it goes nowhere and all my efforts are pointless but still, she continues to lead me on, push me away, and walk back in my life again like nothing happened. What's the point of life when nothing moves you anymore?

Sounds like you havent discovered who you are yet.. Eveyone does this.. you just have to try new things.. You are at the best possible stage for trying new things beacuse you dont have to worry about anything that people think about you. Be yourself.. explore.. Might be a scary concept running into the dark on your own but honestly there are sooo many people out there that will help you. Girls are only like.. a tiny fraction of everything.. best part is, do exactly what you want to do, and if you are happy with yourself, I guarentee you will find a girl that will amaze you.

first you need to realize that all girls are special then you need to become their special friend and practice what your girlfriend tought you a on others and that will make you happy if not then go back to your girlfriend and be a miserable nobody

It sounds like you're suffering from a bit of depression. Sometimes it makes you just numb and detached. It happens to me too. I can't fix this for you with a simple solution, but perhaps you should try out new things to see if anything captures your interest.Sometimes you can just get stuck in a rut and it causes everything to feel so mundane. You could also see someone for some counseling if you wanted, it could really be of some help. They can provide you with the tools to deal with this, offer suggestions, and just be a ear to listen.
