My boyfriend promised me he'd never txt a certain girl again. He got mad at me then txt her. What should I do |
My boyfriend is 26. I am 40. We have been dating for five months. We got into an argument and I just wanted some time to think. I'm jealous of this girl(she is 27). I have good reason to be jealous of her. She is a very close friend of mine. The first text he sent to her asked her out. She declined. The second text said he knew she would tell me and he was just trying to make me jealous. I broke up with him but he has repeatedly apologised not only to me but to the girl he text and 3 other friends as well as my mother (I told him I forwarded the hurtful texts to her) I truly madly love him but he had promised he would not contact this girl by phone again and I had said "If you ever call or text her again. It's over!" Now I'm hurting. I want him back but am afraid he'll do it again. Does he deserve another chance? What should I do? Truthfully, I wouldn't give him another chance. One chance is okay but what he is doing to you is betrayl and you shouldn't have to worry about if he is texting this woman behind your back...which he very well may be. There are guys out there that will appreciate you and only you and won't need attention from any other females. .. good luck! I know you hurt. I've been though the same thing. But I took him back, and I got hurt more than ever. Don't give a second chance. Promises only hurt the people they're made too.....believe me. I'm still not over what he did to me. And it was months ago. How many times do you have to be bitten before you stop trusting? I think that guys make mistakes and another chance should be given if you really do like this guy. He shouldn't have done it thats for sure but its the first time hes acting like this, I think he deserves another chance. |
