Waiting for pet request...?

I have put in a request for a pet 7 days ago with my real estate. The Landlord has said yes however they鈥檝e had to forward it onto strata to check with them that its okay鈥?I have called the real estate up once to see what was happening (as they haven鈥檛 called me) and they were very rude and not really helpful. How long do I normally need to wait to hear the answer? I am only getting a guinea pig so I cant see there being much of a problem.

That should only take a day or two. Sounds like you have a lazy agent. See if you can get the name and number of someone who is on the Owners Corporation (Body Corporate) and speak to them directly. That person may actually live in the units so you can go and chat to them. Also, if you know how to contact the owner, it would be polite to let them know as well. Good luck with it.

I am a landlord,,, and don't feel a guinea pig to be pet material.. as long as you keep it in a cage.. I would just go ahead and get it.. Pets are dogs cats and animals that can mess up a place.

Get the little pig,, but make sure it is not a the pig can't fly LOL
