I need security software advice.? |
Thanks to everyone for advising me on protecting my lap top against viruses and spyware. I found your advice extremely helpful, and eventually went with the combination of AVG 7.5 for virus protection, and Spybot S&D and Spyware Blaster for spyware protection. If anyone has any further advice, or comments about my chosen selection I will welcome them. I would also like advice about a program called Advanced Windows Care which I have been told about. Does anyone know if this is worth downloading. I run Windows XP and have been told that it does most of the things advanced windows care does already, but I don't know enough about it to know for certain. Can anyone advise me on this. I will download it if enough of you think it's worth having, and if it will work with the security software I have installed already. I look forward to your advice. I wouldn't be trying to download too much for your computer. A Firewall/virus scanner, and some Anti-Spyware Programs like Spybot S&D, would be fine. I also would recommend Windows Washers which gets rid of all your temporary files. Umm.... well im kinda a computer nerd and i figured out researching and looking into the virus creaters..... they higher ppl that make viruses and they make soft wear to prevent it and the ppl that make viruses make them then send them out so ppl will buy ther product...... but The one i recomend in norton anti virus its about 50 dollars and its worth the pay...??? just dont download anything to be safe no porn.... of course main cause of viruses seriously no joke.... just safe surf... nothing bad! ok im glad to help! :) AWC is well worth downloading. You can also find out anything you will ever need to know about your computer security at this site, so bookmark it now. CCleaner (free) is really good, cleans registery and unessesary files : ) sorry I don't know about the program you are talking about sorry : ( |

I think the best thing to do is to put a brace on it, and try not to put too much weight on it for a while. Maybe crutches if it hurts a lot.
