I got a ticket for underaged drinking :[?

i was at my house and my friend told me to go to this hotel party with him i stupidly said yes.

and then we were there , there was no acohol at first till someone brought it up the manager called the cops
i didnt know yet. well everyone started drinking it was keystone cheap ****.... well i drank 2 sips and the cops busted it and he told everyone to go to one side that drank and other side if u didnt... and i just had 2 sips and i could smell it on my breath so i went to the right.... T_T and i got a citation for MIC

i dont have my license yet i only have 2 drive times left this is my first encounter with the law concerning this situation the officer said its a class C misdemenor its resemlence to a speeding ticket.. but i have to go to court T_T im scared...

please tell me what i should be looking forward to? im never going to a hotel party again...

In a court of law it must be proven that you had alcohol in your system.Either blood or breath test.Plead not guilty.

A small fine, and or some little punishments. Judge might be nice and let it be a lesson. But again, he might want to make an impression to keep you out of the court system for pretty much the rest of your life.

It's not that bad of a citation. It's not like something you will have to reveal on any future job applications. As a teenager, it should be a wake call about consequences, as mere of a situation as it sounds.

well in my expiriences with the law, i got a citation for something unrelated to drinking. but ya i guess i went to this place that was supposed to be court but it was an office building and i sat down with some lady and my only punishment was that i had to write an essay on how i could move on from what i did

that happen to me 2 2 years ago what they ake me do is being in some alcohol sex and drug classes and that was all....some people have to pay money tho....what you should say is the truth and say that you know what you was doing and you know that that was wrong and whatever they think you should do you will do it good luck =)
