Please Help With My Debate!!!!?

It's kind of long... but please help:

You are part of a selected group of students who will be going on a trip on a large ship. This activity as been several months in the making which involved a lot of time and fundraising to help lower the cost. The trip itself will be rewarding as it involves working the ship, studying marine biology, scuba diving and island adventures. You have been lookin forward to this for along time. To be considered for the group, all students had to have a minimumm average of 65%, were mature, trustoworthy and honest as their would be times when you would not be directly supervised. Your best friend, who has also earned a position on this trip may have just jeopardized themselves. They have been accused of destryoing some personal property of another student. They have denied this, but privately to you they have admitted doing it. The trip administrators have called you in to ask you what you may know about this situation.

Their decision m result in your friend being withdrawn from the trip. What do you tell them?

I'm Affirmative: meaning that I'm telling them my friend admitted doing the vandalism.

I would ask that if the students did this by accident that this be taken into consideration. Your friends told you it was an accident. They would have told the student and reimbursed them for the destroyed property, but they were too fearful because of the strict requirements to go on the field trip. Ask the administrators to relax a little, so students feel they can tell about accidents without harsh punishments. Due to the overbearing worry of adults in charge, children can not be themselves. Your friends would have told their friend about what happened, but they were too afraid. Now our friend's feelings are hurt, too.
