So i call her to wish her a happy b day now what? need advice?

here is the story we used to date
since she wasnt ready for a relationship due to emotional issue due to past relationship we decided to be friends but when we used to hang out we did more than just friends stuff fast forward, we havent seen each other in 3 months and havent really spoken to each other in about 2 months
so her b day came this week so i decided to call and wish here a happy b day, when i call it went st8 to voicemail so i left her a message, and she call me back within 10 minutes
she was amaze that i remember her b day so she asked how i have been, told her i ve bee very busy. so she began small talk and it was pleasant, we started talk about the little things we used to do ( so we talk for about 30 minutes) so when we were going to hang up, i asked " hey i will like to take u out for ur b day" she was like ok, just let me know
did i do the right thing?
i m confuse, any suggestion on what to do? tell me ur thoughts

She was obviously flattered with your attention and just as obviously not in a relationship at the moment.
And I assume you aren't either.
So why not go out? You didn't propose!
You both enjoyed each other before, there is no reason why
you shouldn't again; just relax and take it slow.

Just take her out for her birthday without strings attached expectations. Take is slow you never know she may be ready for that relationship now.
