Is He Interested In Me???

Ok I saw this ex-coworker of mine whom I hadn't seen in about two months and he told me that we should hang out. I gave him my number but I didn't really expect him to call me (because everyone says "we should hang out soon" but never really do it). He calls me the next day and asks me to a movie and I agree to meet up with him. Then texts me "hell yeah. Im glad your coming. This'll be a fun date...err I mean, hang out time!" Because he is always so funny, I don't know whether he was joking or not. So after the movie, he texts me "I'm so glad you were able to come with me tonight. It was nice having you there. You looked beautiful and I look forward to hanging out with you again..."

Can someone please tell me if you think he's interested in me or not? Is he trying to "formally" ask me out? I used to have crush on him, but he never pursued me. He's changed a lot, too (he used to be clean cut and now he looks kinda grungy, like a rockstar...) so I'm not sure I'm attracted to him. Help!!

He is more than likely interested in you; just unsure of whether or not you feel the same way. His "joke" or whatever was obviously a way of flirting with you, so I say go for it. He called you beautiful, which most guys saying that means a great deal.

As for you maybe not liking him in that way, you should give it a week or two and see how you feel after that, maybe your old feelings will return. I've found that no matter what someone looks like, if I truely like him, the looks kind of don't matter anymore. =]

It's very possible he is interested in you on more of a friendly level. Since your date, how do you feel about it and your attraction to him? If your in doubt, don't waste your time and go out with him again. Move on. Date more people with whom you are attracted to and you will so know when the chemistry is there.
