Aunt Died After Reading Email?

This is kind of strange but I had a great uncle that passed away a couple of months or so ago. He suffered a major heart attack and his wife failed to do anything as he would collapse and regain conscious many times. Soon after my great aunt was in need of money as she lost his social security and pension and she became very sad. My grandparents would send her funny letters through email to cheer her up and she would send some back. One such letter she sent was one that pertained to oil/gas and didn't hold any truth. She forwarded the letter to multiple people. Including one such person who replied back with a angry email full of swear words and insults about the letter. Soon after my grandparents received a call that she had died the next day after the letter from the person had been sent. Should I tell the person who sent the rant what happened?

do you really think the email is what killed her? it sounds to me like you want to have an angry confrontation with the writer and accuse them of killing her. it is very unlikely that the email caused her to die, and even if it did, and you have proven it without a doubt, i doubt that's what the person intended. do you think they were deliberately trying to kill her? if you do, you should tell the police, not the email writer. if you don't think they were trying to kill her, or you don't know absolutely, 100% that reading this email caused her death, why would you accuse them? the only reason to do so would be that you are sad and angry over your aunt's death and want someone you can take it out on. this is not a good way to express your grief. why don't you wait a month or two and see how you feel about telling them. you may feel differently when you calm down some and the pain of losing your aunt isn't as fresh. i am sorry for your loss, and i feel your pain. my grandpa died this week and his funeral is tomorrow. i am grieving too.
