Is it rude to end a date prematurely?

I know that most girls can understand what a guy is like in around 5 minutes or so. I can also match this, but the problem is for me my dates usually last around half an hour or more. If I've identified my date to be a ***** then I'd really rather end it then and there instead of continuing for the rest of the meal. From my experience the "what??? your in the hospital!" bail out phone call is very well known, so I prefer just telling the girl straight up. Do you think this is too rude?

Example:
I'm walking around with my date after the movie but before dinner, and she keeps on setting herself slightly forward to seem the dominant one. As a guy that really ticks me off, especially since her entire family (apart from her mother) works for mine. I wanted to end the date right there. She then talked about all the great BF's shes had, as if she could do better than me. I then just said that from what I've seen, she's definately not my type and went home, cancelling dinner. Not too rude?

Oh yeah when I'm on a date, every move the girl makes I foresee a good or bad characteristic to be expected later on. This really helps when I decide if I should continue seeing the girl, or end the date early to not waste our time.

Example: If the girls shares her icecream with me during the movie, I see a girlfriend that is caring. If the girl asks me get her a drink during the movie on the first date (she could and should get it herself, or wait till after the movie!), I see a girlfriend that is bossy. If I see a girl that frequently checks her face with her mirror then i see someone that cares about her looks and wants to impress me. If I see a girl that didn't bother applying makeup then I see a girl that will wear out her beauty quick and be one of those GF's that wears hoodies everywhere.

Well, if she seems like a nice girl, try to put up with it. In your example, that girl just seemed like an idiot, so that's totally acceptable.

Doing that could really scar a girl for life... she might feel completely crushed and it may seriously hurt her self esteem. She may become scared to go on future dates. You really don't want to ruin her night and make her feel bad about herself, ya know? There's nothing worse than that. As a considerate person and as a gentleman, you should follow through with what you started. Try to have good judgment when you go on dates so you end up with girls you'll be able to tolerate. Be sure to plan for short dates. Instead of saying: "Let's go eat dinner and see a movie." just say "Let's have dinner." If it goes well, then you can see the movie. Dinner can't last longer than 45 minutes on a typical night. Surely you can deal with that for the sake of a girl's self esteem.

ya, that is pretty rude. However, you seem like a really big ego guy so being rude comes easy to you. I don't get how you know if a girl is going to work out after just 5 min, that is ridiculous.

Yes it is rude.You need to meet for shorter dates,just for a drink that way if you like them it can last longer and not be rude.
