What is going through her head?

My girlfriend and i are in a pretty serious long distance relationship, me in England, her in America. We have been together 6 months officialy, we both know we want to be together.We have had some problems in the past, and shes going through a lot at home with an ill father, and our problem was that i seemed to controlling, i noted this and changed my ways.

However today, i woke up, left her a short i love you have a good day basic message online, i get a call at 4pm.. 11am for her, saying shes going out with her friends on her day off for pizza and to the mall etc, i said great have a great time, she said she will text me updates on her day as she loves doing so, so i said i would look forward to them.... 7 and a half hours later and ive heard nothing, and she knows i get angry and upset when she doesnt contact me, and its nearly midnight here. I dont want to contact her and look babyish, or start a big fight over this, but it means a lot to me to be in contact. What should i do?

Dudes i am not being posessive, i told her she didnt have to, she volunteered to do it, thats what annoys me, nothing babyish about that, we are in a long distance relationship and always agreed we'd say goodnight to each other each night.

first off, LDR'S do not work, it does more damage to your mind, health and the relationship itself, so be a man and break it off and find a woman, you can talk to, touch and argue with face to face...its better...good luck!

maybe she's just testing your new ways ... sometimes people get busy, cut her some slack.

As you said, she is going through a lot right now-plus, ya'll are in a long distance relationship, so you can't expect her to call or text immediately. Chill out and go to bed. It is just a text. When she calls, don't mention how long it took for her to call you unless she does. :)

Get over it... she's probably having fun and forgot.. it's not a big deal. By freaking out that she hasn't contacted you is being very controlling. I'm sure that she'll contact you tomorrow.. it's not a big deal. Go to sleep!
