Would anyone like to play a poetry game?

My rules are that.... You must have at least some semblance of rhythm, alphabetical progression line by line and a finished poem which makes sense. I have also made it difficult for myself by using rhyming couplets.

An axe-bearing Amazonian alert and aware
Boldly beseeched believers 鈥楤eware
Calamities causing chaotic close calls鈥?br> Detractors disregarded directed downfalls.
Everyone eagerly enthused energetically
Flushed foes forward, fighting frenetically.
Grappled god-like Golgothian guards
Hacking heads heaven-ward, hellishly hard.
Incarnadine infantry immediately intervened

Every word on each line must begin with the same letter. Stern message!

I'll play, I may even use the word nice but not awesome!

because beliefs belong.
Cannot change cultures
destinies don't dally.
Existence else extinction
fruitful fancy? Fantasize

(Well, I am supposed to be busy, but this is much more fun!)
Once I could do this without even thinking...old age has caught up with me.
