Does anyone know how to?????

My husband pays child support while he was with a staffing agency and took it out of his check but never forwarded it to the child support agency. The child support agency then contacted us and told us we have to get ahold of the staffing place and see where they sent the money. The staffing place is no longer open and I need to know how to find these people so I can find out where the money went to. Can anyone give me any ideas about how to find these people or anything. I have called the BBB and the cousumer protective place and at least another dozen or so places with no one able to help me. I have called lawyers and have been told there is nothing I can do at this point but if I dont get this resolved my husband is going to jail. WHAT CAN I DO?? PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME BEFOR IT IS TO LATE!!!!

First, contact a lawyer.

Second, I don't THINK finding where the money went is his problem. All he should need to do is produce his paystubs showing that it was deducted. If the company didn't forward it, then THEY are liable. But like I said, you need to talk to a lawer. NOW

They had to be incorporated somewhere. Try the State Secretary of State website; try zoning/permits for a business license. Try the IRS for their employee tax payments.
