After only a year of being apart, my ex is engaged, and I have a hard time moving on-Any advice would be great

I was with my first love for 3 years. It was a good relationship, except for the fact that he randomly broke up with me on a regular basis, about 8 times over the years, each breakup lasting between a week and a month. We were together until last year, when, out of the blue, he calls me at work, 1 week before my birthday, and told me he needed space. Fast forward to now, it has been 1year, almost to the day. I have not heard from or contacted him, but I still love him dearly and miss him so much. Well, yesterday, i get on myspace.. and there's some girl requesting to be my friend. I didn't know her, so i didn't think anything of it. So then, i checked my facebook account, and there she was again, requesting to be my friend, but her default picture was of my ex bf and her together, and it said they were engaged. I immediately started shaking and crying uncontrollably. And there were also pictures on there from almost a year ago, that dated back to a few months after we broke up.

I have no idea. I didn't respond. I thought maybe she was just being nosey or trying to let me know that she's engaged to my ex. Im not sure. Any thoughts?

I know you dont want to hear this hon but I think you just dodged a bullet. We've all been there and all been heartbroken thinking we cant go on....all of us. You will go on and meet the guy you are meant to be with. First loves are hard and when they dont work out second ones can be destructive because we dont trust the same way, so take it slow. Take the advice I give and GET OVER THE A*******.
If he can`t see that you love him that's his f..... problem!
Lots of guys out there. dwelling on what your X is doing is doing you no good in the long run.
