What is the most unfair punishment your parents gave you?

What punishment did you receive and what did you do that caused them to punish you?

My wife brought this one up because we were discussing her younger years. She was in high school and lived in the country. One day, the school bus picked up the elementary and middle school kids, but didn't pick up the high school riders. When her Dad came into to town after she called home, he didn't wait for her to explain the situation. He grounded her for 2 weeks! Knowing that it would not do any good to try to explain after that, she kept silent and did not talk to him for the entire 2 weeks, not even when the school sent out a letter to explain what happened and he apologized!

Well the crime wasnt good but the punishment sucked....I was in HS (sr. I think) and I came home a little drunk, My mom said to go to bed and didnt even get mad at me so I thought "hey maybe she let this one slide" no way.....The next morning I got up at 5 am and cleaned the house from top to bottom....(lined shelves, scrubbed floors by hand, walls, picture frames, knick knacks etc) We are talking all over home detailing, and then topped it off with yard work and detaling the cars. I also bathed the dogs to boot. I finally hit my bed around 930 that night. Yeah I NEVER went home drunk again!
