Hypothetical question: Is this wrong?

Okay. Let's say you're a guy. You go over to a girl's house for a "date" to watch a movie. You've only met her a couple times. It's not quite a "blind date" but you don't know each other well at all.

You bring a DVD to the date, as promised, but you also bring a six-pack of "adult beverages." You have one, she has one, all is well.

By the end of the movie, you've had three and have a nice buzz. She has also had three and, because she is a "lightweight," she is pretty much hammered.

You end up having really dirty, kinky sex with her.

Is this immoral? Because, after all, if she was sober, you probably wouldn't have had sex. And you certainly wouldn't have done the ... things ... you ended up doing with her.

The next day she calls you and everything is cool. She wants to see you again. But...it's just that you kinda hit fast-forward on the relationship because she was inebriated.

Is that wrong?

DUDE, she called you back, so it is obviously not just good but grrrreeeeeaaaat! Still, I can't help telling a story about my friend who does "wrong"...

I have a friend who tottaly raped my other friend one new years. "Adult beverages" were very much involved, more so for her than him. Anyways, about 6 months later she forgave him and they hang out all the time. No lawsuit, no foul.

TL;DR It is never wrong if she says it is alright!

Nothing in your hypothetical situation seems wrong or even immoral to me. Alcohol can convince us to toss our better judgments out the proverbial window, as we adults well know, and sometimes we will do things we would not have done otherwise. As long as everything is cool between these two hypothetical people, and they agree to see one another again, I see no real reason not too. Maybe they both needed what they got out of the situation, and the alcohol was a blessing in disguise.

If the guy knowingly took advantage of her then, yes, it was wrong.

He knew she was too drunk to be in control of her senses. He should have left it to another evening and be on his way.

The girl above me is wrong. When one is that drunk, they don't always have the ability to voice their wishes and/or reluctance and she may not even remember exactly what all happened now.

(I can't handle my liquor either and have had some really bad experiences when drunk that I wasn't even aware of until someone told me about them the next day. WHICH is why I don't drink at all anymore.)

PS - AND don't do that again! There's a cosmetics heir sitting in prison for the rest of his life over this kind of thing! You, or this guy, got off easy this time. Next time, you may find yourselves in quite another predicament.

The thumbs down just means you aren't willing to accept responsibility for YOUR actions. Forget it. You deserve to be in jail.......
