Tempted to meet another man ..need someone nicer?

we been together for 6 yrs 2 kids ,,I am growing not to like him , he is a crabby grouch .the prob is he likes to drink a bit to much and do other things he know is not right ,for sometime I thought he was even unfaithful . My gf are always calling me to come and hangout with them the problem is is that i am very attractive and i know there are other men that are trying too talk too me and i am so afraid i am going to be so tempted.with my man not showing me much love and his communication is crap ..its been 4 days already ...I am looking forward to just giving up and trying someone else ...any advice ..?I am lonely and lost ......like a desperate housewife

I would try to spice it up for you and your husbad first. Maybe he is feeling the same way. Maybe he is giving up too. Sometimes us woman have to take the first step. Leave him little note in his lunch. Have the kids at a sitter or family so you have the house alone to yourselves. Have a romantic meal made for him, serve it to him in something sexy or nothing at all. Get a digital camera have him take pictures of you. You would be surprised how much things will change

Familiarity breeds contempt... and absence makes the heart grow fonder. Will he go to counseling? Sounds like his drinking is the main problem. When you are getting attention from other men, you are vulnerable, so try to stay away from that if you can, and be patient with your partner, it is possible to change and that's what marriage is - helping the other be the best they can be. You could find another man right now for sure, but he'd have problems too.

If I were you, before you give in to temptation, give him a taste of what life would be like without you in it. Go away for a week on a vacation with your girlfriend. Don't tell him just leave him a note. Ignore the phone calls, and make sure that the kids are with someone who can care for any emergencies that might arise. Maybe once he sees what it would be like if you did leave him he will change his tune. Also make the fact that he needs to seek help for his drinking a condition upon your return.
