Should I be more out-going with my girlfriend?

Alright so I'm 14, and I've been dating this girl at my school who has also a really close friend of mine for awhile. So far things have been pretty good, but I always seem to have this little paranoid feeling going in my head making me feel like she's not comfortable with me, probably because from what I think, I'm not outgoing enough.

I'm normally pretty quiet and not very straight-forward, unless the time calls for it. She's pretty outgoing herself, but it just often seems like she doesn't want to spend that much time alone, and we don't really get to all that much. I am her first boyfriend, so I'm also not sure whether she's just nervous and unsure what I'm okay with. Am I too hard to read?

And for those of you out there just waiting to give me the generic "You're too young." statement, don't.

haha I like the last comment. The moment I read that you're fourteen I had automatic doubts, but then again I'm only 16 and people doubt me. So I'm right with you there buddy. Then i looked closely to your punctuation and even that can say a lot. You seem pretty mature as it is, so here goes:
It sounds as if she may be shy, with my first boyfriend I would basically shake with every fast heartbeat (because i was so shy) even if he just put his arm around me. Just ease into it. Make her laugh, laughing is the best icebreaker (as people call it) that anyone can ask for. My boyfriend now (whom ive been with for 8 months) keeps me reeled in by his out-going-ness and how he's spontaneous with little gifts and such. (nothing expensive just things he makes) In fact make her something, I'm sure she'll love it. Don't do anything too drastic at first because if you're afraid that she's not comfortable yet with the things you do you might scare her away. But since she's your close friend I have one tip for you that you should remember for a life-time, this will help you throughout all your relationships. Communication. Talk to her. And don't forget it.
Sorry this had to be so long.
But I have a good feeling for you guys, so good luck.
p.s. i was also thinking that....maybe YOU're not the one whose "too young" but possibly since you're her first....her mind may be....but there is a cure for that....and that is to just be her best friend as well as her boyfriend. That's more than a girl could want, and I'm glad that i have it.

your to young..... jk take her shirt off

How can someone be your gf if their not comfortable with the other person? >_> you should just talk to her about it, maybe thats just her personality, everyones diff

Even if you dont wanna hear it:
Part of the reason shes acting like that COULD be because you're BOTH too young..
she might want to just chill in group situations because thats what shes comfortable with? doesnt mean theres anything wrong with you.

She probably wants someone that is less out going than her. Girl's love attention (Most of us do), so ask her if there's a problem, but I doubt there is.
Try spend some more time alone =D

It sounds to me like you two are fundamentally different. You want more alone time and she wants more social time. Those are conflicting qualities. One of you needs to change or this is a doomed relationship. Seriously.

Well, first of all, let things develop slowly. There is no rush. Secondly, ask her sometime when you are alone, if she is uncomfortable with you. Lastly, if you make yourself become a little bit more outgoing it gets easier with time.

well, i guess i m too old to understand people's love in this age...

talk to her on the phone about it!

make her wanna be alone with you. tease her alittle. make her think that she cant have you then she'll be trying to get rid of people just to be with you
