Where would you go from here?

Things in my relationship are a little tense at the moment, had a bad weekend and now coming out the other side鈥?But hes still being a little cold with me and I don鈥檛 know how to deal with things as they stand.
He is talking to me but I can tell that hes still not that happy with me鈥?he is not initiating conversation鈥?i know this all sounds petty and I know im likely being silly.
But how do I deal with this now鈥eep backed off..let him know im looking forward to seeing him soon but don鈥檛 call and chase him?
Where would you go from here?

I've heard of guys like this, who clam up. The more it happens the longer they can go. It's like holding your breath under water, they extend the time they're able to do it for. One day, you might be sick of waiting for him to come up for air, and he'll gasp for air, and you won't be there. Then, he might choose a different tactic. But, not always.

If you join the silent game you'll regret it. Call and tell him that he's causing the tension and while he's sulking you're going to go get a life, because that's what you're entitled to. His petty ways will take control if you let them. Never chase him, always be true to yourself. When you're with him, if he's still like this, act as you would normally do when he's not there. He'll soon realise his games aren't working and you're not playing anyway, instead you're out in the real world having fun. Then if he's sensible he'll want to be with you.

give him lots of space and don't go chasing after him. infact i wouldn't talk to him until next week at the earliest.

Call him once, but don't chase him. Call him to see how he is doing and let him know that you are there if he needs to talk. Let him take it from there.

who is "he" ? your boyfriend? lover? husband?

well i would make him a wonderful dinner of his favorite foods. then i would simply say lets never fight again...kiss him then lead him to the bedroom for some great makeup sex. he and i would both know that we would fight again but saying that we won't always is a good way to get the ball rolling. good luck and have fun.

Theres other fish in the sea. Why spend time chasing one? Completely ignore him. See if he chases you.
