I'm always getting these kind of emails...?

I'm always getting this emails (which I know are scams) but I receive these everyday. And I've had the same email address for over 8 years but recently these kinds of emails are in my inbox...where they want info (which I would never give) should I be concerned? (@ the amount I get) and is this what they call phishing scams?Thanks in advance!

I'm not asking if it's a scam (I know it is) I'm asking should I be concerned that I receive these kind of emails everyday. Txs

Don't open, right click and select 'block sender'. If using internet mail that has box next to it, check it and click spam. Your email address is being picked up from somewhere you entered it online in a "free" area particularly in those pop ups that offer a free product if you answer their survey. Don't do it or use an email address you don't use or one that can be traced to your IP address in the future. Clear cookies and history regularly.

Do not reply to any! it is a scam

Try making a new email address.usually hackers can get your email through anything.

block the user
set up your email so certain things are sent to the bulk folder
if the emails are assocaited with a company, call them and complain

its spam mail, scroll all the way down and click on unsubscribe, then they will stop sending spam to you

i got an idea.. change ur password.. and also.. mark as spam so they never come back.. those bastards

I get those a lot too. It is nothing to be worried about. I think you can mark it as spam and they wont send you anymore, or it will go in the junk mail. I would just say, dont click on any links it sends you....

SCAM!!! My boyfriend found out the hard way. He lost over 1000$ bucks. I tried to warn him but he just couldn't resist. Report them. Or flag them whatever your mail box allows.

The key word is NIGERIA. That definately means scam. A lot of Nigerian people try to con Americans out of money and believe it or not, some people get sucked into it. I dont think its anything to worry about as long as you dont reply.

You have probably signed up for something on the Internet and used your e-mail address. It has been sold to spamlists. They can't do anything to you with just your e-mail address. Try using a client that has a spamguard.

If you've had the Email address for 8 years I would suggest that you change it check with your ISP also in lou of changing your address you can report them to your ISP and they can start filtering them or blocking them hope this helps

I'm a little surprised only one person suggested reporting these type of emails to your isp but that would be my choice.
