Bush made morning phone calls to McCain's former rivals Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and Fred Thompson to congratulate them on their primary campaigns. He intends to call Rudy Giuliani later. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080305/ap_o... hmmmmm has george been drinking again? The dems are a joke, get it. They were themselves; they weren't too uptight. They were so cool that they could tell a joke. Also they weren't bitter about loosing; they were good sports about it. Maybe he though it was funny that any other Rep would have a chance against McCain... He was speaking about all the GOP candidates being able to laugh off the destruction Bush and the GOP have done to this country. They whole quote is a bit off...but that just may be Bush...ummm...it IS the 08 election! perhaps he believes that they were kidding themselves thinking they could beat McCain. that doesn't seem likely but its all i could think of. a sense of humor about "unifying the party" and turning their backs on their morals. a sense of humor about ostracizing Ron Paul on command from the party elders. a sense of humor about dirty politics and manipulating the american public. The jokes on the Democrat side of the isle. |
