Did I Screw This Up?

Few days ago I went on a casual coffee date with a guy. The date i think went well, no akward silences, lots of laughing, etc. Afterwards we walk out of the shop and onto the street and he asks me to give him a call if i wanted to get a drink sometime (not sure if this is a good sign, him asking me to call?). I tell him i will. i felt like he thought i was being standoffish, however, and wasn't sure if i liked him or not (he asked me on the first date too so i never took the initiative to get together with him so i think he was a little unsureif i liked him).

later that night i begin to feel bad thinking that he thought i didn't like him so i texted him the next afternoon asking him if he had time later that evening if he wanted to get a drink. was this too forward? did i look desperate? all i wanted him to know was that i was interested. please let me know what you think.
