Christians, what are your opinions on the rise of secular judeism?

more and more young jewish people are coming forward and expressing their doubt about god. however, they remain very respectful of their religion from a cultural standpoint. i saw this video and thought it was awesomely brave of this kid to do this. please watch it and comment. do you really think people like this are "lost"?

i know this is my second time posting this link, but i really want a lot of people to see it. it's a video of a jewish boy expressing his doubts during his bah mitzvah. that's what i call matzah balls!!!

I especially liked the part where he said, "If God existed, he would..." It beautifully explains the atheist complaint, that religion is so often about performing nonsensical rituals and indoctrinating people with irrelevant beliefs, when it should be focused on promoting peace and justice, and making life better for people now. I also appreciated which points got the most laughs. The assembly seemed to be taking his presentation pretty well, even the rabbi.

Many Jews have become secular over the centuries, expecially after the Holocaust. Being "God's chosen people" isn't worth it if such is what it gets you.

If you are a good person you will respect others religion or lack of as you expect others to respect your religion.

Religion has become such an issue that the whole world is basing their belief system on (Religion)

Faith without God is faith in nothing when it comes to believing in God. To have a religion that excludes God has been the Jewish pattern for 10,000 years. Throughout the old testament Jewish believers left God and God would punish them in an effort to get them to turn back to him. When the new covenant coma into being the Jews rejected Christ saying he was not the promised one and put him to death on a cross.

So to see this pattern again is nothing new. Remember the question was about the Jews. Others do the same thing.
