To Patriot haters: Does this bother you?

Does it bother you that you are no better then the extortionists, sore losers and media whores that you jump on board with? See... now the Patriots LOST the Superbowl, that was hard for me as a Patriots fan, but I can easily move on and look forward to next year if that was all there was too it. It isn't though. Even though they lost people are still on their case trying to discredit all their past accomplishments. This isn't sports... this is rediculous. God... I remember the days when a team won more then one Superbowl and people dealt with it, they might not of liked it, but they certainly didn't try to discredit it. You wonder why Pats fans seem bitter to you... because you always bash our team and the only Pats fans you recognize are the ones who don't have anything good to say. You call us whiners? Your the ones who just can't let go of things and scream CHEATERS or that we should have our Superbowls relinquished. Are you kidding me? Just grow up and enjoy the sport.

If Senators are going to investigate the Patriots and their dealings in "spying" then they should also fully investigate the entire NFL and every organization. Why should we be the only ones?

As a longtime Pats fan...I'm sick of this BS. They've even brought out convict on work release, who cleared a spot on the field in the snow, in a Miami game back in the 70's.

At that time we had a mediocre season (like most were back then), so there was no investigation.

The NFL wrote the rules, and if you read them, none were violated. No video was used during that particular game, nor any other.

Why is the senate wasting tax money?

It's ok. I understand how you feel. You lost the superbowl to the Giants. but it's been more than 2 months now!! you should be getting over it by now. Remember, there's always next year, and although you won't be taping your opponents play signals, you guys still have a good looking QB. So relax, grab a beer and quit crying like a little b^@tch.

Because thay got caught. If one person gets busted for shoplifting at the mall, does everyone else in said mall get searched? Umm nooooo. Apparently there are multiple occasions...not one but MULTIPLE occasions of your boys cheating. So don't cry like Charlie Brown and ask why is everybody always picking on us. Instead maybe you should feel a little cheated yourself or slightly ashamed. Again I am not saying other teams don't do it, but it's like my grandpappy used to say, it ain't cheating until you get caught. And your boys got caught. Deal with it.

For the average fan, they are jealous because the Pats have succeeded where there teams have failed.

For Senator Spector, its about Poltics, He is from Philadelphia and wants to curry favor with voting fans. He also is being proded by Comcast who just built a 40 story office tower in Philly and is in a dispute with the NFL Network over broadcasting rights.

Its nothing more than a politician looking to curry favor with thin skinned jealousy fans, and Comcast is paying for it.

Let's see here...The NFL already ruled that the Patriots gained NO COMPETATIVE EDGE from any of the tapes that were confiscated. Also, that it was not cheating, it was a MINOR violation of the rules, since it was only LOCATION and not the act of filming that was wrong. Since NFL rules state that the teams CAN tape the games for future reference and practice but only in certain locations (endzones, press box, etc). So we can all drop that cheating thing. The Senators just want publicity to take the heat off thier infidelity.

One more thing...the Giants did NOT kick the Patriots ***, that would be something saved for a win of MORE than 3 points. One lucky play seperated the Giants from winning it all and the Patriots wearing a 4th ring. You all know the play.

The fact of the matter is that the Patriots got caught-it makes one wonder of their supposed "dynasty". Also, it the NFL ruled the Patriots did not gain anything by the tapes, why have these "innocent" tapes been destroyed? The little penalties the Patriots suffered are nothing.
