She thinks I lied to her when I know I was being 100% honest.? |
Well this girl I know quite well texted me before I was about to go in the shower, asking me if I wanted to call her. I said yeah, but I had to get a shower first (maybe a stupid mistake after what happened). So she says okay and waits, and I get in and out of the shower. But when I get out I get a text from her saying 'you took your time, it doesn't matter anymore'. So I replied straight away saying I just got out. Because I texted back so fast she thinks I either didn't go in the shower at all and lied to avoid talking to her, or I'd been out of the shower for a long time and had been putting it off, when in actual fact I was looking forward to it. Either way, and however petty this may seem, we've both talked about it for a long time, and we're both upset about it, me because I thought she felt she could trust me, and her because she's convinced I lied. What should I do or say? I've tried apologizing, but it was in the heat of the moment. Thanks. your friend is an IDIOT!!!!!!!!! |
